The Luxury Cluster
Italcer Group was founded in Spring 2017 by the Private Equity Fund Mindful Capital Partners, in the person of the founding partner Alberto Forchielli, and by Graziano Verdi, before President and CEO of Iris-Granitifiandre Group, Technogym and the Belgian Multinational Koramic, aiming to create a luxury cluster in the ceramic tile sector.
Italcergroup operates in the ceramic sector, manufacturing high-quality outdoor and indoor ceramic products, with a focus on high-end residential and non residential ceramic tiles, and luxury bathroom furnishing.
On May 8, 2017 Italcer Group acquires La Fabbrica Ceramiche, based in Castel Bolognese, Ravenna (La Fabbrica and AVA Brands). La Fabbrica SPA is an Italian firm specialized in the production and sales of high-quality ceramic tiles for floor and wall, both indoor and outdoor solutions.
On August 3, 2017 Acquisition of 100% of Elios Ceramica and the connected Elle Ceramica, based in Fiorano Modenese. Elios is placed in the artistic ceramic tile segment and highlights the attention to details typical of artisan style. This company is highly complementary to La Fabbrica in terms of sizes, placement and successfully served geographical areas.
On October 18, 2017 Italcer acquires luxury bathroom brand Devon&Devon, world leader in the luxury bathroom furnishing. Devon&Devon exports to more than 80 countries with a network of boutiques, retailers and flagship stores situated in the most important capital cities of Europe, USA, Russia, Middle East, China and Australia.
On October 15, 2018 Italcer acquires 100% of Ceramica Rondine, founded in 1961 in the area between Reggio Emilia and Modena, one of the most flourishing industrial groups in the ceramic tile sector. New products, innovative technologies, research and development, quality, design and respect for the environment: these are the values that have guided Rondine through this first half century of history.
In March 2021, the Italcer Group expansion and internationalisation strategy continued with the acquisition of Equipe Cerámicas S.L.U., founded in 1999 in Figueroles, Castellón, which today is the world’s leading company in the small floor and wall tile market.
In October 2022, Italcer Group completed its product portfolio with the acquisition of Ceramica Fondovalle S.p.A., a company founded in 1962 and today a market leader in the production and sale of large and very large porcelain stoneware slabs.
In late 2023, Italcer Group expanded further by acquiring Terratinta Group S.r.l. benefit, a company specialising in high-end furnishing surfaces based in Fiorano Modenese in the Province of Modena.
During 2024, Terratinta Group S.r.l. Benefit incorporated the subsidiary Artigiana 3MC S.r.l. by merger and leased the business unit of Achillea Mosaics S.r.l., which specialises in the production of porcelain stoneware
mosaics.
